My 1949 V8 flathead parked under cover too long without being started and has seized up. Pulling vehicle did not break it loose. The engine had been meticulously rebuilt and ran like new last time it was started. Thank you for suggestions on this! Best solvent to use? I'm sure many of you have had this experience...
Any chance there are critter nests inside it? Rocking it in 3rd gear, gently, with the plugs out after a soak will minimize the chances of breaking anything.
The MMO mix is a great Idea add a quart of MMO to the oil and 8 oz to 10 gallons of fuel like in a previous post fill the cylinders with Acetone MMO mix. Ide let it set for a week. Check you oil level before attempting a start up. If you pull it do it in third gear. If she starts, run it and change the oil. I would add MMO to the oil half quart should do, it.AJ
