Tach install wiring question
I'm installing an electronic tach in my 65 F100. It has the typical 3 wires for ground, power and coil but it also has an optional bulb module with 2 wires. My thought is to tie the ground from the tach with the ground from the bulb to eliminate 1 wire coming out of the tach. Any reason not to do this? The bulb power would go to the dash lighting so it only comes on when I turn on the dash lights.
