back order timeline
I'm looking to get an idea of how long people have had to wait for OEM replacement parts (April-May 2023). I purchased a 2019 F350 diesel and it needs 7 injector seals replaced before I can drive it home through Canada. The Ford dealership said the parts were on back order with no idea on how long it would take. As it stands now, Ill get my passport from our extremely slow federal government before the parts come in. Its been three weeks so far. Cant the Ford dealers search for the parts at other dealerships, much like Oreillys can in between their stores? It seems like somewhere in the US someone has to have the parts. Hell, if they cant, Ill start cold calling dealerships to find the parts. Anyone with knowledge on how long it has currently been taking would be helpful. Sure would be nice to get my new used truck to Alaska before next winter.
