I cant help but have to ask?
How far do you plan on pulling either trailer?
A 5th wheel would be a lot of weight so you would need trailer brakes is the truck 6 volt or 12 volt?
I am sure it can get the job done just like a 300 six and a granny 4 sp in the newer trucks , just not fast.
What ever you come up with I am sure will be custom made for either unless you get lucky and find something that will take only a little work to fit.

Any towing would be local, non interstate obviously. Parade float comes to mind. I believe it is currently 6 volt, will likely convert it to 12. I was looking at hitches last night and the standard frame width these days for the heavy duty trucks (F550 etc) appears to be 34” to the outside of the rails… Mine is 38”. I am in the planning stages of my restoration, and just thinking about all I might want to do with it.
