Ok, I tried submitting this but it failed so I hope this isn’t a duplicate. Here’s my issue. My ex’s dad died and her mom has to sell his trucks. For the life of me, I can’t find the values. Here’s what they have:
1973 f100 custom 4x4 long bed v8. Not sure which v8. Was bought in 2007 and parked about 2010 due to leaky carb and pinched brake line. In ok shape.
F350 super camper dually flatbed. I’m guessing around 73. Runs from what I was told. Looks pretty good.
Any guesses what they should list for? They will sell cheap to get them gone.
Well we need more info and a pic or 2 is worth a 1000 word write up. Could be a 500 dollar (each) parts truck. Or could be worth 3 to 5K each. Do you have the titles and or do you/the mom or the Ex have a copy of the death certificate? Yes it matters to the DVM, ask the DMV to be 100% sure, but AFAIK the mom can sign for the passed away dad. And some DMV's need a copy of the death certificate to be provided with the title when the new buyer goes to retitle it.

Thanks. I tried uploading pics but it was stalling. They have clean titles and her mom has the death certificate and knows she has to be present at the license office to present them, or obtain a new title in just her name. I just tried uploading again and the first pic stalls at 90%. I can say they definitely aren’t parts trucks. A battery and starting fluid and I bet that 73 lights off. It ran well and I offered to redo the brakes and slap another carb on it but they didn’t have any money. They just had installed a 2.5” flowmaster dual exhaust on about a year before it was parked. Sounded mean.
I not not know if the mom HAS to be at the DMV to get new titles. I bought a truck once and the male owner has passed away, his wife signed in his place and gave me a copy of the death cert. That worked for my state DMV. Each state DMV can be different.
Well then price wise start at 10K for the one that can/does easily run and go from there. If you can even get it to run cheaply (carb kit) that will help when selling it. Easier to come down price wise to make the deal happen, then to go up in the middle of it. Also see if you can make a package deal on both. Without a pic, or more actual info, the price estimate is a guess.
