Keep shorting out ignition Coil

Looking for some advice. I have a 95 F150 with the 4.9l inline 6. Ive had to replace two ignition coils in the last month. Does anyone one have any idea why i would be shorting these coils out?

If you install aftermarket parts, that could explain it.

Have you checked the resistance of the coil wire to the distributor? From what I've read, it should be 7000 OHMS per foot of length.
