I am planning on eventually repainting the top of the passenger fender and the roof on my truck. I found this Duplicolor paint on Amazon and am interested if it will match my paint. My paint color is EP Bright red single stage and the Duplicolor is called cardinal red and says it fits multiple paint codes. I would greatly appreciate some help to determine if this paint matches. I would much rather learn that this paint won't match then buy it and ruin my truck's paint job.
Buy one can and test it on something metal and see how it looks. FWIW I bought some duplicolor white touch up paint for my 95 and it matched perfectly. Of course that's just covering scratches and such.
I know my paint has some fade, I just want to cover up the worst of it. I have new paint on my driver side fender and hood and it matches very close to the original. The roof and passenger fender both need to be repainted. Here are some pictures.
I know my paint has some fade, I mainly want to repaint the roof to protect it. The top picture is what the top of the passenger fender looks like. It is faded and has rubbed off nearly to the primer.
