Hi,I am new to the forum hopefully I’m in the right place to post this.
My alarm goes off randomly,I pulled the horn wire off so I don’t wake the neighbors, lights still flash for about 20 min. Then it resets.2019 f350 xlt. It is set to parameter only.
I read all kinds of things that it could be,I don’t see anything on which fuse that I can pull so the alarm will stop working, not just temporarily but permanently,I don’t need an alarm on my truck I will just lock the doors and I’m fine with that.
so what I’m looking for is what fuse number and where it is located, anyone with this answer will make me very happy and I will be grateful.
thanks
dave
Don’t know the information you’re looking for but the alarm is most likely caused by a faulty hood unlatched switch. The switch is near the latch, gets wet and gives a hood unlatched indicator while driving or an alarm as parked. It has two pins that you can easily jumper to bypass it to confirm that’s the cause.
