Android Auto
I have a 2000 Excursion and I want to upgrade the radio to a unit that has Android Auto. Hs anyone had success doing this and what did they install? I dont want anything super fancy, just a touchscreen and android auto capabilities.

I just looked at Crutchfield last night,
they have several models that are at or under $300 that support Android Auto
all of them use a USB cord to connect to the phone.
Not all of the apps you have installed will appear though,
Spotify and iHeart show up on my current flat panel radio,
it is a Dual brand and seems to work well
they all specify that once you make the conversion to a flat panel radio, the OEM radio can never be put back in.... oh dern, what a waste that radio was
