Trailer Hitch Hardware
I found these part numbers:
Bolts W708772
Nut Plate W709318
But I do not want to wait to order them. I am thinking of getting some Grade 8 nuts and bolts.
Does anyone know what the correct size would be, and what I should use for washers?
Thanks for looking.

I'd say M14 or 9/16" sounds very reasonable. I've pulled the hitches on an '08 and '11 and don't remember exactly but I was thinking they're a step up from M12 or 1/2"
Note many of the basic "hardware store" Hillman stocks will omit 9/16", although my local Ace has it. 9/16" is inexplicably considered more of a specialty or automotive size. NOW, if you have a true fastener house, you're stylin'.
For this purpose -- to me -- 9/16 and M14 would be interchangeable as far as strength. And I wouldn't much care about fine thread or coarse thread. Obviously if you're going to use the OEM plates you'll need M14 (not sure if 1.5 or 2.0). But beyond that you're gonna tear the frame before you break a bunch of 9/16 Gr8 or M14 10.9 bolts, so I wouldn't lose sleep either way.
