Fuel filter replacement issue
2016 Ford 6.7L diesel
I went to drain the primary filter chamber under the drivers side. I had a full tank of fuel. I turned off the drain after draining 4 gallons of fuel and it was not slowing down. I have looked up many procedures on how to do it and none of them mention that you have to do X before draining or it will drain too much. Any idea what I am doing wrong? Is something broken? Do I need to do it with a empty fuel tank?

Yeah, by just opening the drain valve fuel will just keep running out.
