2001 Edge headlights

I just got some Silverstar lights, and noticed what a pain in the *** it is to install them. I have pretty big hands and cant exactly reach in there. Do I need to remove the battery or any screws to get to them?

Welcome to FTE 2001yellowedge. If you've got bear paws for hands, then you'll have to take as much of the truck apart as needed to make a hole big enough for them to fit.
Plan-B... Get a buddy with small hands to help you. The battery may still be in the way some.

haha, thanks. Thats kind of what I didn't want to hear. Can you just push the clip in and pull the bulb out, or do you have to unscrew that holder while it is still in place?

ummmm dude..... you have to remove the headlight assembly. This procedure is explained in your OWNERS MANUAL. Or this can be accomplished by First removing the to small screws that hold a small cover on. Remove this cover. Then behind the headlight assembly are two sliding retainers. they slide UP. Simply slide the headlight assembly out of the front end. Then remove the twist off retainer nut holding the bulb in place.
