Yeah, looks like the harness for the optional PTO control.
Thats what I'm thinking, but according to my window sticker, it doesn't have PTO. Maybe I should do a pub crawl under it and look, but I don't recall seeing anything unusual last time I was under it.
Isn't that the customer access bundle? Also, used for the SEIC. You should notice the same bundle in all of the high idle threads and videos. The same harness comes in all of these trucks, doesn't require or indicate that a truck has the PTO option.

You won't see anything, all there is for the PTO provision is a block off plate on the trans case.
That harness would plug in and access the computer controls for the PTO provision.
Yep, that's the same bundle that I wired a 20K OHM resistor into for my high idle. It should be a standard bundle in the trucks... I have wondered if I could use anything in it for other things though... would have been nice to have wired my dash cam right into one of those rather than using the tap-a-fuses.

I found that bundle when I did my dashcam install and thought the same. But I didn't stick anything into the plugs to see if there was power.
I got this package in my glove box. Says for the Trailer Tow Kit but all my 7/4 pin plugs are installed and operational.
oh if you think I should open it up and read the directions you're nuts.
I believe if you remove the tailgate to tow a 5th wheel for example, you need to connect the plugs back there with that jumper to keep everything working properly.
