I have a stock 1959 with the 223 engine. Fuel pump with no vacuum. When running only, just noticed today fuel coming out of a vent(?)/ Relief vent on the pressure side. The pics shows the spot. I just replaced the hose on the suction side. Can't see that being the reason. Runs totally normal. Is there an internal pressure relief?

They are rebuildable but you may well spend as much doing that as getting another one. All the gas should stay below the main diaphragm. The vent is only to allow air in so the diagraph style pump can function.
