Two regens in 1400 miles of towing so far. DEF use is not as much as I would have thought, only used 3 gallons so far. I did splash def on the side as the nozzle was full when I pulled it off the rack and it poured out when I went to put it in. This is the #1 reason to always secure the diesel cap before doing ANY DEF! That stuff is nasty too.
I wonder if with the changes on the 23's that Banks will need to (finally) update the iDash for the Super Duties. The last list of PID's that they have for the Super Duty is 2019. Many of us have been using them on the 20+ models, however, what we have (or don't have) doesn't necessarily match what is listed.
I would be curious to see how your iDash lists the 5th EGT sensor. There is a PM sensor towards the rear of the tailpipe on my 22, but the few times I have activated it, it never really did anything. Just stayed 0 the whole time. And I know that they started using a fuel injector to inject the fuel directly into the DPF chamber on the 23's, but I don't figure that is monitoring temps also...

They list PIDS for the 20 MYs... for 2021. And that I didn't know... ^^^^^^^^ thanks for posting.
Interesting... just looked on Banks website and there's no PIDS list for the 2023 6.7 Powerstroke. Can you take a pic of the iDash screen?
This is what my screen looks like, not using the truck today so just ran out and got this pic on a cold start. I have yet to see what the temps do during a regen. It seems like 1/3 is the only one that could be indicative of passive regen. 1/5 is usually in the 400’s when driving. Under the truck I can still only see 4, I’m thinking maybe they added one pre turbo? Egt 1/1 and egr 1/1 are very close if I compare them but egr 1/1 is still a bit higher. And there is indeed an extra fuel injector in the exhaust

Thanks... yeah you're not kidding... interesting... I would think, and I'm not an expert, the pre turbo sensor makes sense. The exhaust is already covered with the four that are there....
These are pics from January of this year when I did an active regen...
Pre regen
warming up....
SL dropping a little
Heading up in altitude... snow on the ground.
Small passive regening... prior to going active. I'm climbing hills...
Going hot...
Heading back north out of the snow... the expressway ends so I always turn around and come back. Temps usually cool off some then because it heads downhill going north...
This was a 23 mile regen that was 454 miles out from the last regen...
The iDash does not always go to zero during active regen, but will drop down to zero slowly after it's off. Truck said FULL, then went to 45%. The next day the dash said 40%. I've never seen mine go to zero, the truck that is, but have seen 15% on the dash. It varies... I think it does good for a daily driver with no load.
Although, I promise that was not there the last time I looked... which has been a few months. I see that there are quite a bit more listed since I last looked though. I wonder if they updated this list when the 1.24.0 update was released...
