Sticker removal
I had a sticker come off my boat's trolling motor and stick to the tailgate on my 2014 F150. This isn't an ordinary bumper stick, it's the manufacturer's ID plate and intended to be permanent.
I'm looking for ways that I can get it off the paint and into the garbage without having to repaint the tailgate.

3M adhesive solvent and a heat gun. Plastic putty knife will help.
