Indicator light panel

How does one get these bulb sockets out? All I can get them to do is twist back and forth slightly but they won't come out.

Counterclockwise then pull. They are kind of sticky most of the time

Thanks! It just took a bit more effort and I got them out, I was just cautious about cracking the circuit board. I'm going to update these with LEDs and see if that brightens things up.

some of the dash lights dont like LEDs unless there is a drop resistor in it
