1995 Ford F350 2WD Dually 7.5 E4OD 46K miles. BF Goodrich Commercial T/A All Season LT215/85/R16 Load E ALL 6 Tires same. Door jamb says 65 LBS COLD on all 6.
What is a good ride tire pressure be for non towing daily driving and what should tire pressure be for light towing a small tractor? Nothing heavy ever.
Any other Dually info or tips for a first time owner? Thank You Sandy
I'd prob start about the same. Maybe 5psi less f/r and see how it rides. Some guys talk about a few psi less on the rear inside tires compared to the out sides to account for crown in the road. I never did,but something to think about depending on the roads in your area.
Truck is nice! Would be really cool to convert to 4x4.
You might have to play around with the pressures a bit to find something that works for you. Running a lower pressure can help the ride a bit, but do you readily have the means to air it back up should you need to tow quickly?
Stick with the recommended pressure of 65
If you were an old fart with a bad back I would let you go as low as 50 om all 4
You run the risk of a blowout by running insufficient pressure in the rear
Those rear tires are not supposed to chaff or touch each other on the sidewall (at 30 they surely will)
Good luck
