Another Acadian blue deluxe tu tone. In this shot, Ford was testing the ride vs. comparable makes. IMO, most Custom Cabs that came with chrome front bumpers, came with stainless hubcaps, some might have came with full wheelcovers. IMO, most Custom Cabs that came with painted front bumpers, came with argent silver hubcaps. IMO, most Standard Cabs came with argent silver painted hubcaps. There are always exceptions, stainless and full wheelcovers could be optioned on Standard and Custom Cabs.
Did you purchase the truck
Any updates on condition
I didn't end up getting the truck but it sold a week later after I looked at it. There's was a little too much work to be done on the truck for my taste. Brakes needed to be overhauled, engine was tired, heater box didn't work, etc. If the truck had a six cylinder or a 4 speed, I would have bought it. It was a cool truck for sure, had a solid family history. In the end my gut said no. :-)

Interesting. Mine was pretty much similar condition 75 F-100 CC out of San Jose and built there. Owned by original owners son-in-law. Had a 360 as the 352 was blown long ago. Asking $1450 back in 2007 and inflation calculator makes that $2127. I'm not terribly impressed by a seller saying one owner. I've seen many a one owner vehicle in terrible condition so I discount that when it comes to price. Based on what you say then no higher than $4000. The tired engine really kills it given what it costs to rebuild. I just spent $1100 on rebuilding two 410 FE heads with new guides, valves and seats.

Until you own one of these trucks, or any old vehicle for that matter, its hard to wrap your head around on how fast things start to add up. You can be $2500 deep in a blink on an eye.
