2003 f450 7.3 power steering pump whines after replacement I made sure to jack it up and take my time bleeding the air turning my wheel left and right then adding mercon v multiple times when needed how do I get the whining to go away from my breaks and steering ? It takes a long time to get all of the air out of the system without special tools. I use a MityVac vacuum hand pump + their Ford power steering reservoir adapter, or you can drive it around for 2-3 hours and it’ll eventually bleed out.
When I got my 15 350 it was low on PS fluid. I topped it off and it still whines a little, even after 2k miles. Once I'm driving I can't hear it anymore with all the other noises.
