Changing tank size with IDS
2008 F250 converted to short cab short bed. I now have a 30 gallon fuel tank. Also just did factory electric windows/locks conversion (New harness and BCM).
IDS will not communicate with my truck now. Forscan will, but on a 08, tank size can’t be changed with forscan. Is the tank size stored in the BCM or the speedometer module?
Any idea why IDS will no longer communicate but all other scanners will?

Tank size was not listed anywhere for my truck. IC configuration or anywhere else. Checked multiple times.

what OBD adapter are you using? This might require one that does the ford J1850, MS-can and HS-can protocols.
