As an add-on to Ford’s extended warranty coverage, drivers can purchase a Ford Protect Premium Maintenance Plan. These protection plans cover:
Routine inspections
Preventative care
Wear and tear items like wiper blades, brake pads, and struts
Oil filter changes
Multi-point inspections
All factory-required maintenance
I bought it, haven't used it yet. I got both, the premium care AND the Premium Maintenance with service intervals of 5k miles...for 7 years. This may sound silly but it was the wiper blades that made me look harder at this option. Sure I could do it myself, but I got 7 years of rolling into a shop and having them do it for me. Makes sense for me but only time will tell. Paid 4284.00 for both which breaks down to $51.00 a Month. Will you average $51.00 or higher on maintenance fees per month? Is it worth the piece of mind to be covered with the "ESP" just incase? Makes sense for me on a 6.2l 2022 XLT. Now I can spend $ and time on everything else I'm wrenching on around this place, motorcycles, hot rods, RVs, Tractors, ****...I can mow the lawn. Time is $ for me. Good luck what ever you decide.

Wow $4284... Maybe I'm missing something but everything other than the factory required maintenance is all done routinely when you take your truck in for an oil change anyway, and should be under $100 for oil change and tired rotation on a 6.2. I guess if it makes you sleep better at night knowing you are covered for maintenance for 7 years that's what matters I suppose. Maybe I missed something and there is a 7 year warranty here too? $4284 seems like an awful lot for what you listed especially when they do 4/6 of those items included in an oil change, or they should be. They always try to upsell wiper blades and other things, so the only value here would be if they are covering 100% of the required maintenance. But its your $ and your truck, whatever makes you happy is really all that matters.
Routine inspections --> If you take your truck to the dealer they do this at oil changes anyway.
Preventative care --> Isn't this already done as well? Maybe I'm missing something and they do something special?
Wear and tear items like wiper blades, brake pads, and struts --> Let's be generous and say you replace wipers every 6 months, so 14 pairs of wipers, 2 brake pads, one pair of struts
Oil filter changes --> Included with an oil change
Multi-point inspections --> included with oil change, wouldn't this fall under routine inspections and also preventative care?
All factory-required maintenance --> This is the only one I could see of being of value and only if you racked up the miles on your truck more than the average person but still not $4300 worth.
With this logic there's no reason to pay anyone to do anything for you. Anyone can learn or figure out how to do anything. No need to use an accountant to do your taxes, a plumber to work on your plumbing, an electrician to wire your home, etc, etc, etc. No need to go out to eat at a restaurant either, you can cook for yourself at home. Not everyone cares to do their own oil changes, not everyone likes to play in shyt clogged pipes either, which is why there are plenty of people who do all those jobs I mentioned and along with any other service job.
Not all places people live allow you to work on your vehicles in the driveway, there are quite a few apartments in my area that won't allow it, and I live in a rural area, so I can imagine city living would have this apply to their living situation more than where I live.
Not wanting to do your own maintenance has nothing to do with being too lazy or dumb to do the job. The OP has yet to discuss pricing, I've seem some pretty decent maintenance plans that are about the price of doing it myself or even cheaper, I doubt that's the case but we don't have enough information to answer the OP's question based on the information provided.
and some of us are willing and able to do what we need. Not a single thing on your list that I pay others to do. I have paid a plumber because I needed a licensed guy for the state inspection but I can do his job...
I am frankly amazed that people can not do WAY more for themselves. I am amazed how willing people are to abdicate their work to others. I happen to think it is laziness.

...that's because you've been conditioned to think that someone's lack of confidence, education, experience is intentional. The irony is your way of thinking is actually....pretty damn lazy.
yes sir, no problem. You will enjoy your new rig. Ford engineered these 6.7L's routine fluids and filters easy to access. Just make sure you have a 5 gallon bucket under your oil pan when draining it, so you don't over fill it. Been there done that!
Also make sure you have a large piece cardboard like from a 60 in. T.V. just in case and set the bucket back about 2 ft because when you pull that plug there's a lot of pressure behind it be prepared to adjust the pail postion...I also like to poke a hole in the bottom of the filter with a punch or screw driver and let it drain a bit before removing stops it from running down your arm...Lol Lol..
That's it for a diesel. Nothing more then a gas motor, just takes more oil, and fuel filters are bigger and get half the life out of compared to a gas.
Who the heck is dropping their fuel tank and changing their fuel filter on a gasser every 30k miles? A gassers fuel filter is a lifetime filter. Only needs changing if there is a problem with it.

Gotta love that Diesel justification. Air filter, two fuel filters, water Seperator to inspect, and an oil change with considerably more oil. Yeah... sure... sounds about the same as a gas engine...
