Did a local memorial car show yesterday at Tannehill State Park... First time for this location and had a great turn out. Weather was gorgeous clear blue skys and 70 degrees.
I had a prime parking spot, First vehicle you see when you start the walk. 200 cars registered and a slew of motorcycles. I swear some of those guys spend as much on a motorcycle
as I did on my truck ! I didn't stay for the trophy give out. They were still giving out door prizes and raffle prizes when I left..( the DJ was all about hearing himself tell stories) Great show and saw lots
of old (and new) friends... Maybe they will call me this week to come pick up Best of Show trophy
another local show put on in conjunction wit "HooverDay" a city close by. This shot was taken about 10 rows back from the stage area... arrow shows my spot...I got hood blocked !!! probably two hundred or so vehicles and some very
very nice ones too. From Model -Ts to 50s packards to 2000 series vettes. I got there one hour early to register and I was in the back row !!! No trophies here for me but a buddy with a 56 chevy conv got top 5 in his class (he's got 100K in his car)
You're missing out if all you want to look at is Ford's Morris, there is a lot of beautiful designs and even the off brands are looking good now compared to the copy cat crap they produce these days..
