Obd2 modernization
Hello everyone I was looking to get some information on a way to update the obd2 system in my 96 f150 5.0
Obviously being it’s the first year of obd2 there isn’t really much to it. I want to keep my truck on the road for as long as possible and take care of it correctly. The more information I can have from the ecu the better. So does anybody have any idea on what I could do to update the system?

True story, it already has a 105 pin processor
You would have to put a new processor and a new harness and a new engine / trans combo to go from your EEC 5 OBD2 to EEC 6, 7 or 8
There are better systems but come with a newer better? truck
