Bulletproof 2004 EX

Anyone have recommendations on a quality shop to bulletproof my 2004 EX? I’m in Illinois near Joliet. Looking to stay within a realistic distance from home.

Consider doing the work yourself. A 6.0 diesel will absolutely drain your bank account if you rely on paid labor to fix its issue and maintain it. If working on it yourself is not a possibly for whatever reason , then consider selling it as you'll be much happier, and a lot of money ahead, long term.

Why do you want it "bulletproofed"? I have a stock 2003 Excursion 6.0 with 298,xxx miles on it, not studded, stock EGR, etc. I run a atlas 40 FICM and 50 HP tow tune from 5 Star without any issues.

So, why get it "bulletproofed"? Plenty of guess do all the work and still have issues.

Im looking for recommendations on quality shops. I’m not looking to debate the why. I’m very happy you’ve had the success you have had with your 6.0.
