*****. quicker to adjust. I actually have the middle option - rotary dial controls. Also, you don't get repetative stress injuries from hitting the volume up button over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over,

i like buttons you can adjust more precisly, not accidentally turn the **** all the way up when going over a bump.

those look really cool, but seem like they'd be distracting to use while driving

Mine's a single disc with mp3/wma capabilities, no DVD, I don't have much need for it. It's great I have about 10 actual cd's in my truck that have over 100 albums worth. You can check out the pics in this thread:

Here's the link for the specs:

I normally would say *****. But the **** on my new Kenwood sucks. It's recessed too far and I can barely get my fingers on it. Which moron at Kenwood designed this?

I think it's a rotary dial.. you are supposed to spin it with your finger, not turn it. At least that's what my Aiwa is like. The volume control on it is flush with the faceplate. Some dials pop out if you push on them, have you tried that?

I've got a dual setup

for the PC controls, I have a custom made/programmed push button interface that allows me to use winamp like a CD-player, adjusting volume, balance, tracks, playmodes, etc.
then I have my regular HU, a cheap JVC CD player with a rotary dial. works great; now I'm just waiting to perform a professional install on the rest of my equipment.
