My bedsides were bought through a Ford dealer in the early 1990s, they were in boxes, but they were from Taiwan. They were black electro deposited primed, they fit about perfect too when used last year (2022) finally. Tailgate bought at the same time was FOMOCO boxed, etc. It also was electro deposited primed black. My doors were same as the bed sides though. I forget the numbers, but all were same thick as my OEMs removed.
Painter buddy with a body buisness with 40 years under his belt, used 3M bonding, backed up in a few places with few welds.
I'm sold on it.
