Tore into my wiring harness and found a few problems
1. Green with yellow wire melted to thr passenger side, the reason my passenger door doesn't turn on thr dome light a assume
2. There a 2 wires labeled "resisitor wire do not cut or splice" in my dash, 1 black and 1 red. Idk what the black on is, anyone got a clue? But thr red one I think is the ignition coil resistor wire. It comes from thr ignition (where it shares a plug with a red with green wire) out into a loop and back into thr dash.
The "loop" is burnt real bad and needs replaced
A. can it be the same gauge wire but just a new section soldered in?
B. Can i just cut it and cap it? Or do other things run off it?
C. Why not just run 12v to the coil?

I see al these with eash end like bullet connectors, but I know for sure that my 1 end of it at least goes into my ignition switch with another wire, why don't any replacement I see have that?
