Looking for OBS parts

Anyone in CA or NV with OBS parts? I’m looking for blue interior parts (PW/PL) front seat captains with fold down console. And potentially an engine. If parts are going to be too hard to get, or expensive, I may sell the truck so I can finish all my other 70’s trucks.

these trucks are getting harder to find parts for as the days go by. I’m sure someone on here will be of good help though. I seen another guys post about his build, he mentioned he used rock auto for door panels. So I went on there and looked. They actually have a LOT of stuff for these trucks. But prices for the door panels were just about as much as LMC truck. I think $600 for (2) front door panels. I don’t think they had rear panels at all. Seems like nobody has crew cab rear door parts that I can find.

there’s a guy on here looking to buy a 7.3. Not sure if he found one yet if you do decide to sell.

As others have said, Rock Auto has a plethora of parts for these trucks. I've bought from them many times before. They do have the coverlay front door panel replacement, and it comes with a new dash as well. You can get them in any of the OEM colors. They're expensive though. I looked a few months ago and they were around 800 or 900 iirc. LMC Truck also has the same coverlay door panels, not sure the current price but they were expensive when I priced them 5 or 6 years ago. I actually decided to get a $50.00 plastic welder off of amazon and just fix the cracks in the original panels myself. As for the dash, I bought a carpeted dash cover years ago to protect it from the sun and it seems to have done its job.

Other places to get parts from are:

*Tasca Ford parts (they have a bunch of parts, as well as some hard to find OEM aftermarket parts. I bought an 7.3 VAN power steering pump bracket from them when I converted my ps pump to the 6.0 style pump, it's brand new and works flawlessly.)

*Xtreme Diesel Performance (a ton of generic aftermarket oem, and "performance" grade parts that are specific to diesels)
*Riffraff Diesel (a ton of generic aftermarket oem, and "performance" grade parts that are specific to diesels)
*Diesel Power Products (a ton of generic aftermarket oem, and "performance" grade parts that are specific to diesels)
*Full Force Diesel (a ton of generic aftermarket oem, and "performance" grade parts that are specific to diesels)

*Summit Racing (lots of generic aftermarket oem and performance parts)

*Circletrack Supply (they offer a rear disc brake conversion kit for our trucks)

*CP addict (A ton of generic aftermarket oem, and "performance" grade parts that are specific to diesels. They are also the only company I know of that has an aftermarket window switch bezel. when mine finally broke beyond repair several years back I had to get one off a parts truck because no one was making them at the time. They also offer a door handle reinforcement kit that is awesome, as well as many other parts.).

*Blowing Diesel (they offer a door handle reinforcement kit as well)

*OBS Solutions.net (these guys have a really neat door repair kit [different from the handle reinforcement kits mentioned above] which replaces the plastic tabs that the window switch bezel screws into [that often break and fall off] with a metal plate that has threaded holes in it. They also offer a bunch of other body/trim parts like billet aluminum sill plates, the rubber window moulding/weather stripping stuff, etc).

*LMC Truck (I mentioned them already, but they do have a lot for our trucks. At one point had to replace one of the plastic trim pieces that pops into the driver side gauge cluster bezel to cover the mounting screw holes. I believe I got that piece from them.

*Ebay (believe it or not, I find a deal on there every once in awhile
*Junkyards (unfortunately, unless you want to buy new aftermarket parts from one of the places I mentioned above, junkyards are likely going to be your only option. They will almost certainly be your only LOCAL option.)

I hope that helps!

P.S. Edited to add: if your dipstick is leaking where the tube mounts to the pan, this is the only way to fix it without dropping the oil pan (which requires pulling the whole engine).

These are the same kit, different retailers.

Got my door skins from Carid a few years ago. Cant believe how much they went up since then. They are not close to OEM quality but they are 100% better than trashed doors. Fit is pretty darn close

I think I’m going to just post it and let her go. I’ve got a lot of other projects going so if I get my money back on this truck I’ll be happy with it! Luckily after everything on only $5800 into it
