Rear main seal, AGAIN
Got truck 8th May, 680 miles rear main seal leaking, replaced in June, now with 7,200 miles its leaking again also Ford put a data recorder on it for 2 days to find out what all the engine is doing. Its making weird noises at 65 mph, sounds like air cleaner is being bypassed and then put right back on, also when its doing this the engine is missing very bad but it only last for a split second. Going in for repairs on Thursday, don't know how long they will have it this time, also I changed dealerships and you wouldn't believe the way they treat me, I'am a person not an idiot, they got my records for the other dealership and was reading them and just shook there heads.

I've already had two replaced before 3200 miles and am sure this one will leak also, starting to see the evidance now at 4100 miles. When I get to 4 seals I will send in the lemon law request and ask for a 04, not that I dislike my truck but do not want to put up with chasing this oil leak all the way through my warrenty.
