I've ordered several parts from RiffRaff. Great company. The only issue with ordering the up pipes from them is that the ones on their site does not come with the plate at the top that mounts to the turbo. If I am replacing the up pipes, I am going to do it right. Plus for $455, it should come with everything not just two uncoated up pipes.

They don't include it because you don't need it. You just use your stock one, or they have new factory ones available. They do it too keep the cost down, $399, and unlike all the other cheap crap on the market theirs are actually made in the USA and fit right.
I have found several kits made in the USA that include the plate and are $300 or less. So my plate has a small leak around the side and when I had the new fuel system put on, one of the bolt stripped out. The shop had to drill out the plate and through bolt it. I want to replace it as long as I am doing the down pipes. The part is 25+ years old and has seen 310,XXX miles not to mention a lot of heat. Why not replace it while I'm in there?
I run a water/kit. 150-200 degrees is about it. Mpg claims are for you to point your wife to help sell the idea. Run a 500ml nozzle or smaller or you'll squelch, too much water puts out the combustion flame, evident by less power or hitting a power wall and lots of white vapor out the tailpipe. A 500ml nozzle is as big as you need, (bigger are for sled pullers that rebuild engines often and roal crazy coal) and even that can be too much depending on how your pump is setup. Look at AEM's 5gallon kit, much cheaper than Snow.
When you set whichever brand up don't let it come on before 5psi of boost

Good info for sure. I am not worried too much about MPG or I wouldn't be driving a 25 year old brick haha. Although from talking to new Ford owners, I get much better mileage than they do pulling the same weight. The last guy I talked to was towing a 10k trailer and getting right at 6.5mpg. I get 13 on the low end towing and 15 on the high end.

i bought a SWAG uppie kit and it didnt fit on passenger side with out hitting the head, no returns after 30 days so install what you buy ASAP
Riffraff fit correctly and i used the SWAG supplied collector after removing all the casting slag inside with a die grinder for an hour

LOL, no they are not made in the USA. Please feel free to post links so we can show you why they are not more than Chinese junk. Don't care what name is on it, they are all the same rebranded junk. I speak from experience, installed them, had customers bring them in, they are junk. Do they seal sometimes? Yes, do they last like a quality International or Riffraff manufactured part? Heck no.
Not saying it isn't good to replace the collector, but for those of us that don't live in a rust belt they come out just fine.
10psi at 3000rpm is low. I saw 19-20psi with a tired engine when I had 90cc injectors.
Automatic or manual? If you are not running a low stall converter you are blowing through the power.
Automatic with low stall and shift kit. The transmission was rebuilt and I had him build it for towing...heavy. I have also considered a stall lockout but not sure it would help much.

My collector is bad. One bolt hole stripped and drilled and there is soot around the top an bottom. I am sure the top is warped and causing leaks.
RiffRaff is $420 with no collector and no donut gaskets
Dieselsite is $399 with collector and all the gaskets. Much better value.
I have RR uppipes. Work well. Too much hassle for stuff that does not have great history of fitment. Check your driver manifold too, mine now leaks from No 8.
You are going to need more air, I too have 205/30s without an IC but I have a manual.
Either path you choose, start with finding exhaust leaks first.

Dieselsite are made in China, better price, but not as good of quality or value. Think about it, why the heck would you purchase "Bellowed Up-pipes" and then use a fiber gasket to seal it still?...
If you are going to buy China, you can get the exact same ones from Swag instead of Dieselsite. Same fitment issue, same gasket issue. There is a reason you go with bellows and that is to get away from the fiber gasket. In fact much of what Dieselsite sells is direct from China, just like most re-sellers that aren't actually manufacturers. Check out www.importyeti.com some time and you will see just how many "American" companies are just ordering direct from China and marking it up with their own name to make fatter margin leading you to believe it is an American product.
