C4 leaking at the speedometer cable

C4 leaking at the speedometer cable
Hopefully I can get an easy fix for a persistent issue. I've yet to get my 56 F100 on the road but it continues to leak from the speedometer cable. I know, a 56 didn't come with a C4 but thanks to Flat-O mine has a C4. I have installed 3 different speedometer cables from two different manufacturers but all leak. Now this is while the vehicle is sitting since I've yet to get to drive my F100 on the road. So has anyone got any ideas?

I can't find where a gasket (I'm assuming an o ring) would go. It's just a push in plug that has a rubber O ring) that's held in with a clip that's bolted into the tail shaft housing.
The oil is dripping out of the cable after the factory crimp.
