Well, there has been this mysterious squeaking noise coming from under my truck. I spent all weekend trying to locate it. I finally did find it, though I think I would NOT have believed it unless I saw it. The truth is in the pic.
I did an oil change for my sister years ago, when we were both in high school. I sent her to the auto parts store for a muffler belt. She came back madder than a wet hen. I laughed and apologized and got her to go back for some carburetor bearings.....
I had some buddys years ago and whenever the muffler was getting bad we would say that she was needin' some new muffler bearings. I love the picture. I think I'll save it.
I have a friend that told me when he was a teen as a country boy when he wanted to learn how to fix car's. So he goes to the loco gas station and told the shop keeper what he wants to do and will work for free, JUST TO LEARN. Great the shot keeper said come by tomorrow Saturday morning about 9:00 am. Well my friend tells me that he was there for a few hrs. and another helper was all ready there working. So my friend became the
go-for and the parts cleaner. The shop keeper told my friend that he needed for him to go after lunch, after a bucket of steam down at the Hardware store a block away. Well the guy at the Hardware started laughing and choking he was laughing so hard told him that he had just run out and tell your boss that. He went back to the sevice station and told the owner what the man at the Harware said as these two guys were almost rolling on the floor laughing so hard.. And my friend wised up real fast too this 2 jokers.. That story got me laughing alot when he was telling me.
