Hey guys i need some help with the driveshaft in my truck. I have a 1971 ford f-100. It had a 351w with a C-4 transmission in it when i got. Whe are now in the process of changing the motor and transmission to a 87 model 351w HO and an 87 model smallcase C-6 transmission. The motor-transmission combo came out of an 87 model E-150 van. My questions are:
1. Will the crossmember have to be moved or altered?
2. Will the driveshaft have to be shortened?
3. Will the front yoke on my driveshaft(C-4) work in the C-6?
If you have an answer to any of the questions above please reply i would really appriciate it.
