time for injectors.
and once you put the injectors in, start saving for an injector pump, because new injectors tend to tear up marginal injector pumps.

fuel line "olives". when you tighten the fuel lines they crush and look like olives.
they go on the steel inlet and outlet lines of the fuel filter, and inlet line of the injector pump.
don't remember where the fourth one goes.

it takes a while to prime the fuel system. i have an electric pump, so it is easier for me.
do not crank engine for mere than about 45 seconds, with 2-3 minutes off to let starter cool off.
i remove the line from the fuel filter at the injector pump and crank till i get fuel to the pump. than hook up line to pump, and crack 4 of the injector lines loose.as fuel gets to the injectors i close those lines, and crack the other 4 lines loose.
usually takes around 15 minutes to get fuel to injectors with a dry system.
with the electric pump i can prime in under 5 minutes.

Alright. I have been doing on and off cranking. Was cranking great. Guessing I just drained the battery. Because now it cranks really slow and still doesn't seem to be trying to start.

yea, you only get about 20-30 minutes before the batteries die.
disconnect the glow plugs when priming with a mechanical fuel pump. they EAT batteries.

Luckily glow plugs are connected by push button. Just trying to get it to prime. I'm getting a little fuel to the lines now. Just gonna charge it up and try again I guess.

Got it started apparently my helper disconnected the fuel solenoid. Plugged it back in and it started first try. Sounds much better will send a video later.

Alright. Right now I'm dealing with minor leakage from a few injectors. So my question is; should there be orings on top of the return lines in between the injector nut. That's what the previous owner had but I've been fighting leaks since I bought it.

That's what I was thinking. Not sure why the previous owner had them on there. I made sure to install the orings on the injectors. Will remove the ones from the return line caps. Maybe they are keeping them from fully sealing.
