So I have run out of ideas and things to replace. My 2002 f350 gets the code p1280 {low fuel pressure}. I have replaced the icp sensor and the ipr valve, the high pressure oil lines, the injectors and their cups, the injector control module, glow plugs, the injector wiring harness, fuel pump. I have gone through the engine wiring harness with a magnifying glass and a fine tooth comb. I have blown out my fuel lines as well as pulled the tank out and scrubbed the gunk out. Replaced the fuel filter, checked the pcm relays and have had the pcm diagnosed by Go ECM [it is in fine working order]. After all said and done I get the freaking p1280 code and truck will not even start Fortunately I misplaced my shotgun sometime in the middle of all this. Any ideas? She has 346,000 miles
So thank you. I believe. That I ran all the correct tests for the various pins on both the PCM and the.IDM. I see you have a new connector coming for the APR valve. It was like two bucks and also I did buy a new fuel bowl. Mine was crusty and the fuel regulator was pretty dirty. And I know I did run all the tests on the I see people for the Ford manual. When I pulled up my fuel pressure regulator off the fuel bowl I noticed it was pretty greasy and I think that area had a huge deal with this. I cleaned it and fired up, but then shortly started to choke out again.
