Apologies if this has been asked before, but I couldn't find much on a search
I'm wondering if anyone has updated their 1999-2004 F250 to a newer style of LED headlights. I bought some on ebay that claimed they fit my 2004, but they didn't. Rather than trying a bunch of no-name brands, trying to find something that actually works, I thought I would post here.
I really like this look....it makes the truck appear similar to later models. But I am also open to suggestions.
Thanks. No modification necessary to the truck? I am reading on lots of these aftermarket ones that I have to cut into the existing bracket on the truck to make them fit

correct. They fit exactly where OEM do. I had a set prior that didn't fit well and required mods. These don't. I tried to post the headlanp LED's from Amazon but weren't available. Wally world has them and not expensive either... good luck.

Thanks. I did check your link but the comments say they are halogens. Great looking units, but I am wanting something that is LED. I prefer not to modify the truck, but I haven't found anything that fits the OEM design yet. Still looking...

I installed LED'S instead of halogens. Bulbs come separate, not with lens...
If you're looking for LED headlight bulbs (just the bulbs, not the entire lens assembly), then check these out from Dieselsite (link below). I've tried multiple sets off Amazon and these are by far the best I've used. I have them a few trucks now.

Awesome, thank you.
I want the entire assembly because my original assemblies are fogged and dirty, the way that these models tend to get. But I don't mind buying the LEDs separately from a more reliable source.

If you like to look of the stock units, they can be restored to clarity. I've used these kits (link below), and a little extra sandpaper, to restore the lens on a few trucks. Only place i don't really follow the instructions is the very beginning. They want you to start with like 500 grit sandpaper, and if your lens are really f-ed up, that ain't gonna cut it. So I start with 100 grit, then go to 300 grit, then start following the instructions. Takes awhile, and makes a mess, but you end up with clear headlights for cheap afterwards.
I bought Recon replacement assemblies for my wife's old 2004, had to cut away a bit of the header panel there to clear them, but they bolted in fine after that. The material removed wasn't essential to anything, really.
But I wasn't impressed with the light output. Yeah they looked great, but the biggest improvement in nighttime visibility was the addition of the Diode Dynamics fog light replacements. Those were plug-n-play and absolutely outshined (pun intended) the recon headlights.
I could have upgraded the recon bulbs, but after their initial expense, I wasn't keen on dumping more money into 'em.
I have factory housings running Beamtech fanless LEDs, since 2018 and have been AWESOME! Super bright, and great coverage! All our vehicles have Beamtechs, and now do most of my friends since they like mine so much. Id recommend them for sure!
I did a Morimoto Bi-LED retro fit in to some 05-07 housings.
Cut-off at maybe 50 feet.
Looks like I wasn't the only one that had issues with the grill guard bars not being equal height on a Move bumper. I built a similar bumper for my 05 Excursion, here's a thread that shows one way to fix the center-to-side bar height mismatch issue.
