EDIT- Under TR its an E which I believe is the 4R100 tranny.
EDIT 2 Figured it out with help from a facebook 5.4 group.
Yes it goes on the back of the block, heater pipe first then larger block nut thread, then tranny dipstick over the top with a wide flare nut on top to secure it.
ALSO if wanted to avoid future problems remove the stupid metal heater core pipe in the valley and replace with 5/8" heater hose and use a barb fitting to connect into firewall hose.
Never have to worry about it rusting out again. (Mine seemed like it was loose and going to leak from the start & its brand new metal piping.)
On a 2003 5.4 4R100 tranny.
Was waiting forever on parts to arrive to finish this so its been awhile since I took it apart.
The tranny dipstick, correct bolt bracket location????
Maybe I bent my mount removing it?
If I go to bolt it down flush like that it twists the dipstick at the top right into everything else?
Anyone have a picture of the proper way to bolt it back?
