2003 Excursion flashers (turn signal)
I get into an LED mode with the Excursion (NOT the headlights)
Got the LED's///install a pair rear brake.turn.
The Excursion flasher thinks it sees a burned out bulb and goes into fast blink mode...reason=LED draws lots less power..
Then I find there is a flasher world out there but info is secret.
There are "mechanical" flashers (old) like in the Excursion..
There are "electronic" flashers (new-high tech) available at AutoZone but there are a shelf full of them. They are interchageable but which ones....
Answer: get the Excursion old flasher out and look at it==then go for a logical match....
QUESTION: where is the 2003 Excursion flasher==hopefully acessible to someone other than a contortionist==
appreciate any other advice along the way
Got pics? These are just replacement bulbs or the whole light assy?
>QUESTION: where is the 2003 Excursion flasher==hopefully acessible to someone other than a contortionist==
It is somewhere behind the brake pedal
Sorry, I've never really looked. Couldn't you turn on the blinker and follow the clicking?Someone at the SUper Duty boards did something similar, have you tried dearching over there? Put "LED" & "Posts with last 1 year" in the search criteria.
