I an now an offical X owner. The rig is a 2001 Limited PSD that is very enjoyable to drive, a little slower than my '99 psd supercab, softer ride, but works quite well for my ever expanding family. My question is has anyone been able to find the right combo - video/dvd system for the X. I tried the Audiovox 10" LCD screen with a VCR and Playstation 2 but ran into many problems. First the temp. controller for the rear need to be removed or location of the screen needed to be changed. The screen popped down right in front of the middle pass. ~ 12 inches away. The installer had no answer if there was a custom console that would work with a over head electronics for the limilted and I was told that if I wanted to place the VCR/PS2 unde the seats then the seats would not be allowed to pivot/move. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks for the help, Dan.
Check out my gallery in the user gallery under f_pumillo. I have a dual screen audiovox system with a DVD player under the middle seat (60%) side. The seats fold with no problem. The rear screen is used by either the kids sitting in the back row, or they plug a game system. I have a 140 Watt power inverter to generate the 120V Ac they need. They plug their headphones into the reay sreen and the guys in the middle row can watch their movies. Meanwhile I listen to my tunes. I got the system from a stereo place called Cartoyz in Somerville, NJ. Audiovox had the system on their web site. If you need more info, send me an e-mail at pumillofhsd009 at earthlink.net. I got the system with 4 wireless headphones and I can tune to an FM station for surround sound.
