Slowly turning this in to my new tow rig. Just chasing gremlins. Shuts off completely once it reaches 185F . Thinking It's the ICP or IRP worst case it's both. Already replaced the oil gasket that goes bebteen upper and lower oil filter housing.
After doing it's 2nd oil and 3rd oil filter change. It would stay running even after reaching operating temp of 190F. To me this would rule out ICP and IRP. It would however drop dead once I let the rpm's go below 1200. Has me thinking it is the High pressure standpipe and dummy rail seals are worning out if the are the originals. Only 167k on the odometer. Mileage didn't get them but age did.
