I just purchased my, new to me, 1967 F100 shortbed. Many upgrades have already been made. 302, auto, disk front brakes, power steering and power brakes.
wipers don't work but will get to that soon. otherwise just driving on non raining days. Nice little cruiser for now. Looking forward to learning from you guys and making more upgrades!

Nice looking truck and looks straight. Getting to the wiper motor will be a PITA. You have to remove a lot to get to it. When I started putting my 72 back together, I think the wiper motor and linkage was the first thing that went in. Did you use aftermarket parts for disc brakes and power steering or swap out of another bumpside truck?

Thanks for the compliments.

Everything was already done when I bought the truck. Haven’t had time to check everything out yet. Master cylinder may be leaking but not sure what it came off of. Added a pic in another post but will add one here. Maybe someone can identify

The only thing I would change is the wheels and put my name on the title.

+1 on the PITA wiper motor. 5 minutes to remove instrument panel and ash tray,15 minutes to remove wiper motor bracket, 30 minutes to remove wiper arm clip. Now that I figured out how the clip comes off may not be as bad if I ever need to do it again. Just had to feel my way, because there was no way to look behind motor bracket. Anyone know what might interchange with that motor, I think its bad.

WOW! big score today. I've been looking for a wiper motor for a couple of weeks. Cardone 40-258 reman seems to be a direct bolt in. Problem is none of my local parts guys could get one. My search on the net found a couple of remans for $170.00-$200.00. more than my budget would allow at this time. Was going to try and get it redone at a place that rebuilds starters and alternaters but he wouldn't touch it. Finally found one on amazon for $100.00 but would not be delivered until sometime in May. Was about to bite the bullitt when i met a guy who sent me to a friend of his who had a 1970 F100 setting in a field. He said the wiper motor worked when it was parked about 20 years ago. Said I could have it for $25.00 if I took it out. Since I already took mine out, I knew what to do this time. Had it out in about 15 minutes. I figured I would take a chance for $25.00. Brought it home, plugged right into my switch and WHA LA it works! Now time to move on to other upgrades, led lights and new door & window weatherstrips. I'm a happy guy!

That has got to be the coolest patina I’ve seen on a truck! Welcome to the group. I’ve learned tons about my truck since joining. An encyclopedia of knowledge here.

Keep us updated with pics!

Disc brakes were first offered for F100 2WD's in 1973, 1976 for F100/250 4WD's.

The disk brakes and I-beams were swapped out of a 1973 F100. They were not original to this truck. Originally a six cylinder, 3 speed. now a 302 automatic. I like the fact that whoever changed this out also removed the clutch pedal. Someone done a lot of work to this truck before I acquired it and I am thankful they tried to do it right.
