Drive shaft issues
Hi guys, I have a 1984 f150 single cab long bed 133wb, with a 4-speed manual with a 9-inch rear I recently rebuilt an np208 that has a fixed yoke.
Now for the problem I have a slip yoke rear shaft and now I'm puzzled because the driveshaft will be slightly shorter, has anyone else swapped a fixed rear yoke into their 84 if so what driveshaft did you need and how long was it. or what truck can I get a shaft from that will work.

Agree, search locally. Most any heavy equipment repair shop will have a local contact too, or any old auto repair shop that's been around for many years. I my area CT there are many auto repair shop that fix all kind of vehicles. They have new car's to 30 year old trucks sitting outside all the time, even mail trucks.
