Last year I upgraded my truck and camper. I had a 2001 GMC 2500HD, extended cab with an 8.1 and Allison transmission, I miss the power of that truck! My slide in was a Six-PAC model 88, a small slide in made for 1/2 ton trucks or smaller. I bought a 2017 f350 extended cab long bed f350 with a 6.2 two years ago. At the end of that same year I bought a 1999 Lance 1120 slide in. Huge upgrade for a camper! I really mis the power of the 8.1 and Allison tranny compared to the 6.2 and six speed tranny. First pic is new truck with new camper. Second pic is new truc with old camper. Third pic is old truck and old camper.

All three look great! The Lance is a nice upgrade. I had a 11.5' Lance with the extended overhang for years. It was a good unit.
Yes two different dogs. I ended up having to put “Pebbles” the gray one to sleep 4 days after picking up the new camper, she had cancer. She only got to check the new camper out once 😢
Did I remove the back seat of my truck? No I didn’t. Lol. My truck is my daily driver and need my back seat. Most of my camping is, weekends on the beach. So my dog rides in the back seat, and I have plenty of storage in the camper. I do 3-4 campground trips a year. Most are 3-4 days. The longest is 7 days. It’s just me and my dog, so I have plenty of space/storage. Lol
