Theft device with new keys

I had to buy a new key cylinder, with keys. Previous owner lost them and I had to drill out the cylinder. The one for the security system that ford has. The truck will not start because the theft light is on/blinking at me. Trying to find a solution to reset this to accept the new key. I do not have the key fob, lost. Any ideas how I can get this truck started?

This is for a 96 f250 with 7.3

This era does not have PATS. Sounds like more issues on your end.

Crap starter, crap batts, crap cables all lead to difficult starts on a Diesel.

Door cylinders?
My 94 has the theft switch on the door cylinders.
You have to use the key to lock/unlock door without the keyfob.
I would have thought the horn and lights would be blaring if the door opens while theft is activated.
