Accelerator cable for 300 i6

I need help with this throttle cable.. I am trying to find one that works with this engine that is a 300 i6 i don't know what it came out of but the vin for it says it was a 1975. The vin is d5te-6015-aa... I cannot find the right accelerator cable for it
the truck itself is a 1965 f250 long bed
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated

A 65 truck I think use linkage not cable.
Now you might look at 80 - 86 trucks as they used a cable.
If you get the pedal the cable should hook to it then you would need to come up with something at the carb end to hold cable.

Looks to me like somebody put in a cable set up from maybe a later year truck. That vertical bracket attached to the intake manifold looks homemade. I would try to identify what gas pedal set up you have and see if you could find either a new cable for that, or an aftermarket compatible cable.

A bicycle brake cable. The high end ones are stainless, lined with teflon.
