i'm going with a t5 from an 80's mustang with the 5.0ho
would the 302 flywheel work on my 351w HO?
so you think it will sound good or just annoying?
louder than poo....it would sound like you were at the dirt track which would be awesome but i think you would get pulled over....with my firebird with just headers i would kill th motor when i pass a cop..
Not telling you what to do. It will sound great ,however, you will become very annoyed over time and wonder what in the crap you were thinking haha. All I can say is BBC rough cam, in an s-10, straight 3 inch pipes 2 foot long, turned down equalled the cop saying get out of town and don't come back until its fixed. haha. Go for flowmaster or dynomax is my preference it is deeper than a glasspack but similar if that makes sense and a whole lot cheaper than flowmaster. I would like to see your progress pix as your plan sounds like a nice one. I also like the fact your using a supercab. Good luck with your truck
My '85 351HO sounds pretty bad a&& with open exhaust manifold (went with 88+ manifolds since I couldn't get headers to fit, bigger opening). it isn't as loud as I thought it would be. I think I'd get less tickets with it that my headered, dual exhaust 300.
thanks
where i live in tennessee they don't enforce vehicle laws too much
we dont evern need cats
and it wont bother me to much since im 15 the louder the better
