I found a killer deal on a 2018 F450 that I wasn't able to import from Canada because of this lame recall. Cannot import a vehicle with an outstanding recall. Had to spend about $15k more on my current F450 I purchased last week because of it. No remedy available.
After getting no information about this recall from local Ford Dealership in pan handle of Florida I called Ford Corporate on March 9. The person that helped me said "parts are available" and he called dealership. Ford Rep set up an appointment with dealership to take care of the rear camera recall on March 21. I will update when complete. Hope this helps!

Mine was completed in June. Had it done and the transmission reflash done at the same time.
Thank you for the reply.
I’m in Ontario, Canada and dealer still says “no parts yet”.
I’m heading to Florida in January and wonder if I can get it done there. Will have to check it out.
one last question if I may, are the images from the camera(‘s) any better? I’ve never found them as good as the other rear cameras I’ve had.
I can't see any difference but my truck lives in our garage unless it's on the road, which isn't all that often. Mostly the lens is protected from the elements.

just chatted with Superduty service guy (I’ve spoken with serveral times)
”Rear camera for recall is now available”
He gave me part #:
HC3Z - 196490 - X
I think this is the same camera I just ordered and installed about 2-3 weeks ago. Oh well, I’ll see if I can get a credit. If now I may get a backup camera for free. We’ll see.
Sorry for delay posting. There’s really no excuse but I forgot. You know life sometimes gets real busy.
Anyway, I called the dealer and they said they were getting some stock in so I was scheduled in.
Four cameras replaced and man what a difference!
Now the image is SHARP, where previously it had looked like wax paper was over the lens.
Take care guys and thanks again for your input.

Had the same issue with my 19 F450, all 4 replaced under warranty, however since it was a Certified warranty, there was a deductible, then later Ford recalled all the cameras so they refunded me the deductible I paid for the front 3 cameras. Originally it was just the tailgate camera.
