Hey y’all, I went down to the local tire place and replaced my LT235/85/16 with 255/70/16. I traded some stuff for them a while back and did not notice the difference. Was going to use them because I just had them sitting around. I do not haul heady loads or tow, just use the truck as a daily driver work truck. Will I have any issues running on passenger tires? Thanks
1997 F250HD..
I did that swap with my truck. Same size just not the LT. Running then at a pressure slightly lower than the LT tires.
Truck rides better. I'm not hauling anything near the MAX GVW.
I noticed it took that sharp "shock" out of pot holes and other bumps that rattle your teeth.
Anything heavy and I load it on my trailer.

No problems at all. Just beware you won't be able to safely carry your trucks rated load capacity with those tires installed. Driving unloaded your well within specs.
