1998 Ford E350 RV
We just bought a 1998 6.8 V10 Lazy Daze RV and we knew there were rats living in the engine, but we didn't know the damage until we towed it to a shop last week. By the way it still started even though it had rat's nests in the engine. Today the mechanic discovered the rats chewed the plastic heater blower housing casing whatever it is called. He thinks the part is discontinued. I am trying to help find the part does anyone have a diagram of the area behind the battery.

Tons of labor to replace the front HVAC case
See if they can repair it, patch it or?
To replace it with a new part might be 1000 - 2000 bucks
If you were to send him to the wrecking yard to procure one, it might cost more than that
